Hello again my little stalked friends! First off a great big "Congratulations!!" to Stephanie for having her first book published! Yes, I say her first because I hope there will be more Harlot fun to come. I've ordered my copy and can't wait to see it. So pop on over and say hi. She's a hoot.
As promised, here's a picture of my mom's bedspread that took forever and a day to make.
All together now....ooooooh....aaaaaaahhhhh...
I won't say what it's made of (Redheart) because I live in Central Texas and good yarn is harder to come by than snow and those of you with delicate yarn sensitivities will be highly offended. So, it's made of yarn (Redheart) and you'll just have to accept it. It was Mom's Christmas gift because she lost her mom in February of last year and she was a crocheting/knitting Goddess. The woman was amazing. I really miss her. So I wanted to make Mom something special. When she got it she cried and spread it on the floor, crawled all over it and inspected every single rose on it. Which translates into "It will end up in a plastic bag in a closet somewhere because it's too pretty to use." Oy vei.
Hopefully on Monday I can post some of my finished Dulaan projects. What's a Dulaan you say? Why hop on over and check it out or visit Ms. Ryan's blog and see what all the hooplah is about. It's fun! It's for a great cause! You'll like yourself better for it.
This weekend is one of my beta playing weekends for Guild Wars so if I don't respond in a timely manner, I am not ignoring you. I am just busy decomposing in my computer chair. Trust me, it's not pretty. I'm an addict. Until then, here's pics of my rocking chair I painted last Spring to cheer myself up.
Just screams Spring, don't it.
And another view!
Hope everyone has a great day!!!

June, Dad's already on it for me. Said he would sneak it on the bed at every opportunity. hehe
That bedspread is BEAUTIFUL!! And I love your rocking chair, so happy!
Angie--I. Love. That. Chair. No, seriously, L-U-V. It made me smile just to look at it. In fact, I'm still smiling. I'm starting to look like a dork.
P-La, so glad you like the bedspread! I had a lot of fun doing it.
The rocking chair was a LOT of fun to do. Believe it or not, I only used 8 colors on the whole thing. I love to mix them and find new ones. You should see some of the flower pots I've painted. Fun stuff.
Welcome to the blog ladies. And a special hello to my very first stalkee, Ms. Ryan. :o)
